JULIA BERG - Director
Julia is a former journalist who has worked for the BBC and at overseas television networks and publications. She is well travelled and lived in France for some time.
She has worked in travel public relations for 16 years and has excellent contacts. Julia is not only responsible for all aspects of the business at the highest level but takes an active part in all client matters on a daily basis. Journalists particularly appreciate her creative story ideas and she has good relationships with television decision-makers and the press.
Industry colleagues widely attribute much of Croatia’s media success, since the country’s independence in 1991, to Julia’s personal efforts during her leadership of the PR account for the Croatian National Tourist Office during the most difficult and challenging period in the country’s tourism development.
Julia speaks English, French, Spanish, German and is learning Croatian.

JESS HILLIARD – Assistant Director
Having obtained a degree in Tourism and Art History, Jess went on to pursue a career in media including 2 years working for First PR, a leading London PR and marketing consultancy, specialising in the travel and leisure sector. While there she worked on a number of accounts including tourist boards, tour operators and hotel groups.
Jess has been with Charisma PR since 2004 so has in depth knowledge of client destinations. She has excellent writing and communications skills and responsibilities include day to day account handling and research. Jess also works on television/filming projects, escorts press trips, is responsible for trade press liaison and has started work on new business.

SUE LISTER - Associate Director
Sue started her journalist career working on news and features on the Telegraph & Argus, Bradford before moving on to Yorkshire Television. She then spent 5 years on the editorial team at Travel Bulletin before “crossing the floor” to work in travel PR where she was account director for a number of years at the much respected BGB agency handling a wide range of client accounts including airlines, tour operators and tourist boards.
Sue works in a senior executive capacity with special responsibility for trade press liaison. She also prepares client strategies, attends client meetings and escorts press trips. |

PAOLA SADLER – PR Assistant
Paola joined the company at the end of June 2008 after obtaining a degree in Public Relations from the University of Gorizia (Italy). After working for two years in the biggest Italian Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, MART, in Rovereto (Trento), her career objective was to move into PR. She left Italy and moved to Brighton. She says she was very excited at the prospect of joining Charisma PR and working for a travel PR agency. Paola handles client research, client reporting and administration. |

RICHARD AWBERY - Executive Assistant
Richard has been with Charisma for over 6 years and handles administration, client monitoring and reporting together with some horrendous tasks including the changing of lightbulbs and dismissal of uninvited salespeople! |
